OsTIrus boasts all the hallmark features of the Virus Ti hardware, including six stereo outputs (three analog and three digital), and support for unlimited polyphony, dependent on the emulated DSP chips' clock speed. The plugin can handle sample rates up to 96kHz, ensuring high-quality sound with minimal aliasing. It incorporates grain table and formant oscillators, unique wavetables, and the famous hypersaw.

Unlike its hardware counterpart, OsTIrus eliminates MIDI DIN timing issues, ensuring flawless MIDI performance. The sound quality of OsTIrus is highly praised, particularly for ambient pads and smooth Reese basses. Patch management is simplified with an intuitive browser, allowing users to organize presets by categories and banks.
